California Fuchsia (Zauschneria or Epilobium canum) has a distinctive aesthetic. While its bright red blooms have similarities with Island Snapdragon, its foliage is more delicate and a silvery, rather than waxy bright green, in color. It is an excellent way to add LA-style fall color to a garden.
