Lush and Low Water Garden Design

Cassy Aoyagi, president of Form LA Landscaping and the Theodore Payne Foundation will provide an inside look into the creation of a new drought tolerant garden display at Descanso Gardens.  FormLA Landscaping designed and installed the new garden to showcase foliage that thrives during drought, maintaining a lush, vibrant and distinctively California aesthetic. During this talk and walk presentation, attendees will:

  • Hear the vision a behind the “Lush and Low Water” Center Circle garden,
  • Explore ways in which this design strategy can be applied at home, and
  • Learn about foliage that is lush, lovely and low water.
The program will include a 45 minute talk and walk and include a question and answer period.
