The Theodore Payne Native Plant Garden Tour is a unique adventure: a two-day self-guided journey through dozens of the Los Angeles region’s most beautiful and inspiring residential landscapes. At each location, you’ll meet garden owners, designers, knowledgeable docents and fellow gardeners.
Thank you to the Weiss family, who will open their garden for the tour. It is the Weiss garden’s third year on the Native Garden Tour. (The Santa Monica Conservancy garden tour also featured the outstandingly restored home and garden in 2013.) With several varieties of IdealMow lawn alternatives, deliciously abundant edible gardens, and interlocking decks between historic buildings, the garden provides an intimate, verdant environment in the heart of midtown Santa Monica.
