Along with USGBC-LA’s Urban Landscape Committee, we had the opportunity to tour Magic Johnson Park with its designer. We were awestruck and a little overwhelmed by the acres of restored habitat. The park hosts Moro Bay-esque flocks of birds in one of the most paved and densely populated areas of LA. It’s amazing.
As we watched park goers enjoy the space, we hoped this dose of nature fueled them to do whatever good they may be called to do in the world. We hope you find the same refreshment in the spaces you love!
