Learn from our Zero-Emissions Equipment Experience

Maintenance Managers Oscar Ortega and JT Wilkinson will discuss their experiences with zero-emission equipment, smart charging technologies and incentive programs with the California Air Resources Board (CARB)’s professional landscaper workgroup.
FormLA Landscaping takes community health and our Clean Air Impact seriously. We upgraded to electrical landscaping equipment prior to the release of incentives to protect our team’s health and yours. We were the first landscaper with a county-wide service area to earn listing as a CARB Zero Emissions Landscaper, and we continue to update our impact statement annually as we renew our Clean Air Day Pledge.
Beyond what Oscar and JT share, the workgroup will discuss recent updates to the small off-road engine regulations that affect new engines used in landscape equipment. The meeting will be in English, with Spanish simultaneous translation available.
CARB encourages professional landscapers to join the workgroup and participate in its quarterly virtual meetings, even before they take steps to lower emissions. Details of the meeting are in the meeting agenda.
