Join Sunland Tujunga Forward, FormLA, neighbors and friends as we expand the Tujunga Garden of Resilience and Inclusion along the east entrance of our community! We’ll prepare to add even more blooming habitat like this.
May 2nd will focus on clearing space for the new garden. May 16th will focus on adding irrigation – it is a great opportunity to learn to install the low-flow, subsurface drip irrigation ideal for supporting native plant habitats. We’ve had such fun with you doing exactly this in phase 1 of the garden build!
Plan to bring a water bottle, and wear sturdy shoes, gloves, a shading hat and sunscreen. Tools, visibility gear, and refreshments will be provided by host organizations.
