Theodore Payne Foundation’s Sunday morning series visits the Granada Hills garden of Jon and Susan Joyce. This is a chance to see a multi-year Native Plant Garden Tour favorite before its spring bloom. The garden features a mature desert willow that greets visitors to this large five-year-old landscape. The back yard, which spans more than one-quarter acre, is a soft-textured open space with a slender sedge meadow surrounded by native habitat plants.
Other notable features include a shade structure trellised with native grape, an outdoor kitchen, a dry creek, raised veggie beds, and several fountains. Light refreshments will be served. This is a private residence, and the address will be provided with registration.
