Eye-Catching Curb Appeal, Mid-Wilshire

Wrapping Water Features in Foliage Provides Additional Delight

Featured in the Los Angeles Times in drought-ridden 2014, this L.A. home exemplified the lush, leafy, low-water curb appeal of climate-compatible landscapes. Designers incorporated the parkway into the overall design, incorporating a foliage color palette that increased the terra cotta colored home’s curb appeal.

This mid-Wilshire Spanish home’s climate-compatible foliage stops traffic.
In back, an emerald green IdealMow meadow creates waves.

When the business launched 20 years ago, it was nearly impossible to get people to listen to its native-plants message… [now] Drought-resistant requests now come in without much prompting.
