IdealMow Lawns offer a more-perfect union for Angelenos
If perfection is the name of your game, and our Meet Your IdealMow Match Quiz indicated it is there are two IdealMow Lawn and meadow grasses willing and able to meet your high standards in ways a turf-grass lawn never could. Both deliver a delectable green, even in drought. They are so low-maintenance, they may just make your lawned-perfection look effortless. How more-perfect is that?!
Here are the distinctive skillsets they would likely showcase in an audition for your affection.

Tight and Tidy
Strong and sturdy, Dune Sedge can hold up to frequent mowing…. and by frequent, we mean once a month or so. That is enough to keep him sporting the perfect fade with tight edges. He’ll play with the kids and pets and not loose his cool if the neighbors cross him. We really like that about him.
That’s not the only thing we like for you. While he isn’t teetotal, Dune Sedge doesn’t drink much, and you’ll never see it. He prefers smart, subsurface drip irrigation. He’s also quite flexible. If at some point, you need a little more flexibility, he can meadow-out his vibe. Somehow, he still comes across as just right.

No one is perfect, and we do have one note of caution here. Dune Sedge prefers a sunny disposition. If you (or rather your garden) are shady, he may have trouble committing. Because he starts his relationships, one plug at a time, you’ll feel it if he hesitates.

Emerald Velvet
You wouldn’t be the first to thirst for the distinctive, velvety emerald green of Red Fescue. He’s certainly attractive – maybe especially for those of us prone to perfectionism. He can be a quite-right match for some. Yet, he’s aloof. He’s not great with kids, pets, or really even visitors. (We’re serious here – we think you should know before you fall for him!)
On the up-side, like Dune Sedge, he’s not much of a drinker, and he won’t try to control your time or attention. If you are a bit shady or tilted, Red Fescue will happily commit and help you hold your ground. In fact, like turf, he can literally roll out a green carpet for you.
We know what you are thinking. Yes, he will. While we tend to showcase his mellow meadow aesthetic, he’s not opposed to a shorter cut, especially if he understands that’s what you need to be happy.
