creative arts group pauses art of the garden tour to celebrate community
June 2025. This year, the beloved and impactful Creative Arts Group of Sierra Madre celebrated its 65th birthday without hosting its popular Art of the Garden Tour, one of its two annual fundraisers. Focused on the foothills, the tour typically includes gardens from Altadena to Sierra Madre.
The tour and annual Artists’ Fair support a middle school art projects, ongoing adult art classes, as well as ongoing studio and gallery operations. In support of wildfire impacted homeowners and their recovering communities, Creative Arts Group determined to pause a year, opting instead to host a party in their own gallery and studios.
We have to celebrate the beautiful hearts and dedicated work at Creative Arts Group – as well as their significant birthday! Here are a few moments from Art of the Garden Tours in the gardens of the Claytons, Fimbres, Kays and Schumachers that linger in our hearts.
