New Year, New Blooms

You Start Fresh – LA Does Too! Here Are Her Latest Endeavors

January 2026. LA never stops blooming! Each year she delivers on her resolution to keep the blooms coming. What’s Blooming Now provides essential habitat and fuel for feathered friends heading into nesting season.

New Arrivals: Lemonade and Sugar Berry

Named for their berries, both Lemonade and Sugar Berry Shrubs also deliver amazing blooms that start early and hold into spring.

Even when not in bloom, both offer huge, hearty greenery that can make a great hedge or privacy screen for those with the space. Their structure and leaves are quite similar.

Staying Power: Manzanita

Like dancing jingle bells or layers of sweet snow, manzanita’s delicate blooms arrived just in time for for the start of hummingbird nesting season. Now that it’s in full swing, these blooms hold steady, offering sustenance to hungry mamas and papas.

The drought-hearty foliage adds architectural greenery year round. Most manzanita varieties act like farm-to-table restaurants, switching from blooms to berries throughout the year.
