20 Years + Impact

In the last 20 years, we’ve added nearly 1.5 million square feet of authentic, native habitat to LA and removed about 200,000 square feet of turf. As a result, each year, we now save LA well over 10 million gallons of water, reduce air pollution equivalent to a year of commutes for 59 cars, save our clients’ approximately $700,000 a year in lawn care, and keep 2400 lbs of toxic chemical fertilizers out of our watershed.

Prevent Foothill Disasters

By FormLA Staff: The holidays present distinctive erosion related challenges for the Arroyo and Foothill communities of Los Angeles. In 2003, the area experienced property-damaging mudslides on Christmas Day, and 2009 also saw significant rainy season slides.

This year, neighbors and community members united to prevent future wildfires and mudslides, disasters often considered natural.
