At the start of June, we joined the powerhouse 64-year old, 9000 member West Pasadena Residents Association Association to discuss the power Angelenos have over our resilience. The conversation covered questions we hear from the foothills to the beach. Whether you are in a high fire severity zone or working to bring neighbors together for other reasons, we hope you find hope and inspiration in the conversation.
We’re grateful to WPRA Board Members Jacqueline English and Lee Wallace who brought us into the conversation and guided our engagement as well as to WPRA President Carlos Javelera who helped us understand the community’s needs and priorities. We were delighted to be in conversation with Pasadena Fire Chief Chad Augustin, One Arroyo Executive Director Daniel Rossman and Regional Firewise USA Director Gabe Albarian.
