October 2026. By Isara Ongwiseth: Soften as you enter this verdant, lush and shady wonderland completely concealed from public view. The expansive, park-like space feels intimate, even cozy. We’re so grateful Paige and Joshua Sternin are willing to share the wonder!
When it’s not raining, the garden has days like this.
When storms come, the dramatic rain garden fuels the surrounding greenery. A magical IdealMow Meadow ringed with rare wildflowers and accent grasses drinks in every drop. The bioswale and verdant landscape sink stormwater to the roots of the diverse array of trees. Can you see the happiness in their canopies?
By directing water down through the clay soil, the bioswale helps keep the trail and garden accessible, rain or shine. A stroll through this space easily fills hearts with sunshine.
